Windsor Pizza - A family review. (Our quest to find the best pizza place in Windsor) Review #3 (see Roma's pizza house for review #2) We ordered a large pizza with a 2L bottle of coke. It came out to about $28. The restaurant is take out only and the inside is very cramped. I actually had to wait outside as there were just 2 other people inside. This isn't a big deal if it's nice out. Wouldn't want to do it if it was cold or storming though without a vehicle. The staff did help an elderly man carry his pizza to his car. Very nice to see. They said the pizza would be ready in 30 minutes so i went to get gas and then got caught by a train. They called about 18 minutes in and said my pizza was ready. I got there when they originally said, about 30 minutes. The pizza box did not feel warm. Daughter 7 - Neutral thumb (sideways) Son 17 (harsh critic) Pre taste - 8/10 Cheese - 6 Sauce - 7 Crust (he usually never eats) 4 Overall - 7 Wife (relaxed critic) Pre taste - 7 Cheese - 7.5 Sauce - 8 Crust - 6 Overall - 8 Dad (neutral critic) Pre taste - 8 - The pizza looked very appetizing. Cheese - 7 - The cheese and sauce went perfect together. Unfortunately, it was on the cooler side. Sauce - 8 - The sauce is very good. If it was a little warmer, i might have even gave it a 9. Crust - 4 - The crust wasn't very good. A little under cooked in my opinion. Texture was a little cardboard-ish. Overall - 7 - Windsor pizza delivers excellent pizza for a pretty reasonable price. Unfortunately my pizza was a bit on the cool side due to the time mismanagement. If my pizza would have been fresh, it would have been bumped up a point across the board. I would recommend Windsor Pizza to anyone who hasn't had it before. Even on the cold side, it was still really good. After reading some other reviews I can see how people would feel the pizza is a little soggy or undercooked. I think if Windsor Pizza can get their times more approximate, or keep the pizza hot, their pizza would be that much better. Maybe even one of the top spots in Windsor! Family score - 73%/100

You have to try the Fried PANZEROTTIS! You can get what ever fillings you would like just like a pizza. Very delicious! The large is pretty much two meals! Soooo filling!!!

When I heard about the history of Windsor's world renowned authentic pizza style, I had to start with one of the OG's in the game. Non other than Windsor Pizza. I know, I know there are many other choices. After researching the history here I realized Windsor Pizza is the perfect place to dip my toes in. I will say this, it was NOT a miscalculation. Not to greasy, fresh flavorful toppings. Galati cheese, shredded pep. Firm and fluffy crust, generous potion of bright and zesty sauce. After eating here I realize its no all talk Windsor truly has something to offer in the pizza game. 8.7 out of 10
